cottage cheese cookie dough

This recipe, oh my gosh.

If you’ve made my cookie dough dip before, you know how freaking good is. This is very, very similar, but maybe better because there’s no tartness from the yogurt? You guys be the judge! @JakeCohen shared this on TikTok so I used his cottage cheese base and swapped the rest to give it a more “unhealthy” flavor!

What to eat this with

  • pretzels

  • pretzel crisps

  • berries

  • melon

  • mini vanilla wafers

  • teddy grahams

  • graham crakers

  • on yogurt

  • on a spoon :)

Recipe

  • 3/4 cup cottage cheese (I used 4%, I really don’t think fat content matters too much!)

  • 1 Tbsp sugar free maple syrup

  • 1 Tbsp salted butter, softened

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 cup white cake mix

  • 1 scoop (33g) vanilla protein powder (I use this - code is AUBREY)

  • 1 Tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 Tbsp granulated sugar

  • 2 Tbsp chocolate chips (use dark, milk, mini, whatever you want!)

Directions

  1. In a small blender/food processor, combine cottage cheese, maple syrup, softened butter, and vanilla. Blend until creamy!

  2. In a large bowl combine cottage cheese mixture, and all dry ingredients!

  3. Finally, mix in chocolate chips and sea salt, and enjoy!

  4. Keep in an air tight container in the fridge!

    • Note: it will start out as more of a dip consistency, but will set up / become thicker once it sets up in the fridge for a bit!

Macros

This recipe yields about 430 grams, total, which I split into 10 servings. Each serving is 43 grams! Macros are for one serving.

  • 136 calories

  • 21 carbs

  • 4.2 fat

  • 4.2 protein

Note

Cake mix contains raw flour, and there is a very, very small risk that consuming raw flour can cause e.coli/salmonella, the same risk as eating raw cookie dough. If you are concerned, you can “heat treat” your cake mix. All you have to do is put your cake mix into the microwave for about 20-30 seconds, until it reaches 160 degrees. This will make it 100% safe to eat!
