Chicken Caesar Crunchwrap

As if this recipe needs any kind of description.

If this were on the menu, anywhere, ever, you can bet I'm ordering it. Caesar salad is my favorite thing ever. Except when we were in Tahiti and they put the biggest sardines I've ever seen right on top of my salad and I almost passed out. That's a hard no. But any other Caesar salad, or Caesar salad anything, heck yes.

The inspiration behind this recipe is fairly simple: my goal in life is to find any and all variations of things I can stuff into a Cut Da Carb wrap. I started with normal things like turkey and cheese, moved on to breakfast crunchwraps which are another step up, and now we're here. And they just keep getting better, if I do say so myself.

Cut Da Carb

If you're unfamiliar with Cut Da Carb Wraps, let me introduce you to your newest obsession. They're low in carbs which is fantastic if you're a macro counter, or someone who watches carb intake. The other thing I love about them is that they don't rip like normal wraps usually do. They're thin, but hearty and strong, which means you can really pack them to their fullest potential.

The options are endless when it comes to what you can put in them, which is why I'm testing all the options for you. I'm doing the homework so you don't have to.

If you want to try them, which you do, my discount code is KALE, I've linked them here!

Nuggets

The funny part about this is that I just had someone ask me if/when I was going to start posting more recipes with protein other than chicken. I guess it’s safe to say today is not that day.

The chicken you use for this really doesn’t make that much difference, but I will tell you that of any frozen chicken we’ve ever used, this brand is phenomenal.

The brand is called “Just Bare” and we get them in the frozen section of our Costco, but I’m linking their store locator here so that you can find them in a store near you!

We use the “Lightly Breaded Chicken Chunks” and they are so good, even on their own. But in this recipe .. chef’s kiss. Incredible. All white meat, really high quality chicken.

Air Fryer

Our air fryer is a couple of years old, but we love it so much. Our model is still available, and it’s super affordable so I’m linking it here!

When we first got it, I assumed this would be another item that would fall into the sits-in-the-cabinet-and-collects-dust category of small appliances, but we actually use the air fryer all the time! If you’re ever in need of some air fryer inspiration, search “air fryer recipes” on Pinterest, and you’ll have enough recipes to last you the next ten years.

Recipe

Chicken Caesar Crunchwraps

In short, you need this recipe in your life. It's the best of both worlds: Caesar salad, and carbs, combined. What's not to love? This recipe can be made any night of the week, and comes together in less than 5 minutes. It's fool proof, husband approved, and delicious. Check, check, check!

  • 1 Cut Da Carb Wrap (any wrap will work)

  • 1 serving Just Bare chicken nuggets, air fried

  • 2 Tbsp Bolthouse Farms Caesar Dressing

  • 1/3 cup chopped romaine lettuce

  • 1 Tbsp shredded parmesan cheese

  1. Cook your chicken nuggets first! Whether you air fry them, or throw them in the oven, just make sure that step is done before anything else.

  2. Spread 2 Tbsp of Caesar dressing onto your wrap to create a base for your lettuce and chicken.

  3. Chop your lettuce and chicken nuggets, and layer on top of the Caesar dressing.

  4. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.

  5. Fold in the sides of your wrap one at a time.

  6. Place the wrap seam side down into a hot skillet (does not need to be greased!)

  7. Let it brown for about 1 minute on each side, or until golden brown, and it's ready to serve!
