Creamy Hot Honey Whipped Feta
HOLY yum you guys. This is legit.
I just discovered whipped feta fairly recently and knew it could be recreated at home, but the best part is how the hot honey came along. When I first had whipped feta, I had no idea it was usually garnished with olive oil. I probably could've guessed, but after a few glasses of wine, I assumed it was honey.
In my defense, whipped goat cheese is almost always served with honey, so I wasn't totally off track!
Alas, when I was recreating at home, I decided to try it! But with TJ's Hot Honey, because I'm obsessed and am positive I could drink it. Turns out, it's freaking incredible, and SO easy.
This would be perfect to serve this weekend for a wine and cheese night at home for Valentine's Day/Galentine's Day! Or the Superbowl too, whichever you prefer!
Recipe is below, I can't wait to hear from you if you try it!
What You'll Need
feta cheese (any will work)
cream cheese (or greek yogurt if you don't have it)
hot honey (or regular honey)
garlic
olive oil
parsley or mint
Basically, use what you have, this bad boy versatile!
What to Serve this with
fresh veggies
pita
pita chips
plantain chips
olives

Creamy Hot Honey Whipped Feta
This appetizer comes together in less than 3 minutes, and can probably be eaten in less than 3 too! It's creamy and delicious, and if you love hot honey, you'll be obsessed. The tart from the feta, paired with the spice from the honey, is the best combo! Serve it for an at home date night, or double it for a Superbowl app crowd. Either way, I know you'll love it!
1 8 oz block feta cheese
1/2 cup cream cheese (or greek yogurt)
3 Tbsp hot honey (I use the TJ version but Mike's Hot would be great too!)
1 Tbsp minced garlic
fresh chopped parsley or mint, and a little extra honey for garnish!
Combine the feta, cream cheese, and honey in a food processor until smooth. If it's still too thick, slowly add in the tiniest bit of olive oil and it will thin it out!
Garnish with fresh parsley or mint, and drizzle with more honey!
