Lemon Meyer Two Good + Their Mission To Reduce Food Waste

If you've been following me for longer than 24 hours you know my love for Two Good runs deep. I am yogurt obsessed, and have been eating this brand since they debuted in January of 2019.

Yogurts are an amazing source of probiotics and protein, and are an incredible snack option for those looking for something both tasty and filling!

With only 2 grams of sugar and 3 grams of carbs per 5.3 oz, Too Good contains 80% less sugar than other greek lowfat yogurts on the market right now. This makes it an incredible, lower sugar yogurt option.

Not only that, but did I mention it actually tastes good?! A key piece to the puzzle!

Food Waste and Two Good's Mission to Help

In the United States, close to 1/3 of all edible produce gets wasted at the farm level. The Good Save TM product was developed in partnership with Full Harvest®, a produce rescuing startup that works directly with farmers on food waste that occurs at the farm level, to have a positive impact on the issue of food waste at the farm level.

Good Save TM allows Two Good® to create delicious, lower sugar yogurt products that are made using Full Harvest Verified Rescued Produce.

That means that while a good portion of the lemons used in Two Good's new Meyer Lemon yogurt would normally be going to waste, they're now being harvested and used in Two Good yogurts sold nationwide!

I already loved Two Good, but knowing what they're doing to help prevent food waste nationwide, gives me all the more reason to purchase from them!

My Take on the new lemon flavor!

I was a bit hesitant about the new flavor! Because Two Good is made with such little sugar, I thought it might be too tart. However, I ended up loving it! If you love lemon at all, you'll be a huge fan.

It has the perfect amount of tartness with just a little sweet, perfect for a tangy and refreshing afternoon snack! Add just a few more ingredients and you can have the perfect lemon cheesecake dessert; my recipe is below!
