Palm Springs Bachelorette

I have been so excited to share this post! I had the best bachelorette trip you could ever imagine, so if anything in here can help one of you girls, it was worth writing!

I had been pretty set on Palm Springs for awhile, but even if it's not on your list, I hope you consider it. There was not a single aspect of Palm Springs I didn't love. It was literally made for bachelorette trips! Even if you don't go for a bachelorette, I'd still highly recommend, and I want to go back STAT!

Everything about it was so relaxing, resort-y, and beautiful. It's the desert, but it's also somehow so lush and green and beautiful! The airbnbs and resorts are all equally amazing, but I definitely recommend an airbnb unless you're doing a spa type trip. In that case, I heard rave, rave, rave reviews about the JW Marriott, which is where I want to go next time!

Our Airbnb

I could not have picked a better airbnb. It was big and beautiful and fit our needs perfectly. We had 8 girls and it was plenty spacious for all of us! There were four bedrooms, and each bedroom had a bathroom which was even more amazing when you're traveling with all girls. You know how it is!

The pool was the best part and where we spent most of our time. I would not recommend renting an airbnb without a pool as it is very, very hot in Palm Springs.

I feel like the airbnb listing is going to do a better job of describing it with its description and pictures, so I will point you in that direction! It is listed here!

One thing I will mention - the airbnb was actually located in La Quinta, which is a suburb of Palm Springs. It was about 40 minutes away from downtown Palm Springs!

The Weather

Like I mentioned, Palm Springs is very hot right now, as it is considered the desert. I'm not sure why this took any of us by surprise, but it is brutal during the day. We parked it by the pool and I would've wanted to do nothing else! It was HOT. The nights were substantially cooler and felt amazing! Closer to the 70's so it was perfect after the sun went down!

Bachelorette Planning Service

This was one of the most asked questions this weekend. Who did we use and what did she do? My MOH hired a service off of Instagram called @bach.to.bride, and she. was. incredible! I cannot recommend doing this enough if you're in the Palm Springs/La Quinta area.

Her job is to basically get to your Airbnb/hotel before you, and set up for your party. She offers a wide range of services to fit your needs, and everything is tailored to what you're wanting her to do! For us she did:

  • balloon arch

  • set up our table with gifts/accessories/cookies/etc

  • stocked our fridge

  • set up snacks, drinks, charcuterie

  • decorated the master bedroom with balloons/bride decor

  • provided cute pool floats

  • cleaned the house after we left

She can also do things like plan your itinerary if you're unfamiliar with the area or want someone else to take care of that for you! I know you guys had questions on pricing, and it's totally tailored to what your group is looking for, so you'd have to reach out to her for her to quote you! But what we paid was reasonable for everything she did for us! It was well worth it in my opinion and I'd do it over again in a heartbeat!

She doesn't have a website but she's extremely responsive to DM, so if you have questions, reach out to her and tell her I sent you. She couldn't have been sweeter and she went above and beyond anything I could've ever imagined.

Restaurants

  • Cheekys

    • We went here for lunch and it was fabulous! The drinks were great, the outdoor seating is a fun vibe, and the food was incredible.

  • The Pink Cabana

    • We had drinks here after lunch and it was SO incredibly cute. Highly recommend for a group of girls! The cocktails were amazing and it was definitely a Palm Springs vibe. Immaculate decor, open air, and just a really fun place to spend an afternoon. I heard they have an amazing brunch as well!

  • Tropicale

    • This was a highly, highly recommended restaurant and we had a great time! It's a very moody vibe but it was fun. The menu has a good variety and we all liked our food. The cocktail menu is extensive and has tons of options. If you can, ask to sit outside! This would be a great place for bigger groups/a nicer diner out.

  • Normas

    • We were supposed to have lunch here on our last day, but since we had a few too many drinks the night before, we skipped out and decided to hang by the pool. But this is probably the most famous/recognizable restaurant in Palm Springs. It's located at Parker Palm Springs Hotel and we heard incredible things about their brunch menu! I know the food is fairly pricey, so just a heads up if you decide to go!

  • Birba

    • What's funny about Birba is that it's actually the same restaurant I mentioned earlier, Cheekys. They just operate under a different name, with a different menu, at night! I loved this dinner and would highly recommend. It's all outside, which I loved. Their menu is Italian and their arancini is one of the best things I've ever had in my life! They had a ton of fun cocktails as well, and I'd also recommend this one for a nice dinner out/with a larger group!

One thing I would mention is that regardless of time of year, you need reservations no matter how large your group is, or where you go. Even with reservations, we had to wait at Birba, but it could've been because it was a busy holiday weekend. Just keep that in mind when you're traveling to Palm Springs!

Other than that, I'm so impressed by all of the places we went. I don't have a single bad thing to say about any of them, and I'd revisit all of them again if I went back!

Bars

The bar scene was a lot busier and more fun than I expected! I thought it would be more of a lowkey, resort town vibe, but the nightlife was so much fun. We spent both Friday and Saturday night at The Village and had a blast!

We also did bottle service at Moxies one night! It was decently priced for bottle service, but I don't think I'd recommend it or do it again. It was fun it just wasn't worth paying for when we had just as much fun next door at The Village, and didn't have to pay for bottle service.

Private Chef

Saturday morning, we had a private chef come to our house to do a HUGE brunch for us. It was beyond words incredible and I'm so glad we did it, it just wasn't super cheap! If you're doing this trip on a budget, I don't recommend. However If you're looking for a boujee breakfast at your Airbnb for a big group, I highly, highly recommend hiring Chef Courtney!
