Smores Perfect Bar Bites
If you know me, you know that protein bars/balls are my jam. They are so easy to make and having quick, healthy snacks on hand is what keeps me from unintentionally eating an entire box of Cheez Its during the week.
The base recipe for all of my protein bars/balls is the same, which is what makes it so easy for me to create so many different variations! This base is perfectly sweet, with just enough peanut butter, and pairs perfectly with virtually any mix in or topping you choose!
BASE PERFECT BAR RECIPE
- creamy peanut butter
- honey
- vanilla protein powder
PROTEIN POWDER
The protein powder you use in a protein ball recipe is super important. Trust me when I say, I’ve tried them all and they are not all created equally.
Some get gritty when you combine them with other ingredients, some don’t melt seamlessly with the peanut butter, some are chunky, etc. There are a lot of reasons certain protein powders don’t work; all you need to know is that I only use ONE!
The vanilla protein powder I use for all of my recipes is the best protein powder I’ve ever used. It works well in any recipe I’ve ever tried it in, it doesn’t dry things out, and the flavor is amazing.

- graham cracker
- chocolate chips
- mini marshmallows

Smores Perfect Bars
I'd like to think I'm ahead of the game with this recipe, seeing as though Perfect Bar doesn't have smores flavor just yet! This at home version is incredibly easy, requires minimal ingredients, and I'm convinced they're just as good as the store bought Perfect Bars! These little bars pack a protein punch, so as to keep you full and satisfied in between meals in the best way! Who doesn't want a smore with a little protein!?
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 3 Tbsp honey
- 2 scoops IheartMacros vanilla protein powder
- 2 sheets graham cracker, crushed (4 squares total)
- 2 Tbsp chocolate chips
- 2 Tbsp mini marshmallows

Microwave the peanut butter and honey for one minute, then whisk together.

Fold in the protein powder until thoroughly combined and not clumpy!

Then fold in all of the crushed graham cracker, and half the chocolate chips and marshmallows.

Reserve the other half for topping!

Pour mixture into a greased/lined loaf pan and press down evenly.

Top with remaining chocolate chips and marshmallows.

Press them into the batter so they stick! Refrigerate until you’re ready to eat!
